Polkadex Orderbook is working on a Hummingbot exchange connector! Yesterday, the Polkadex team raised a pull request proposal (PRP) on Hummingbot’s Snapshot space to verify the Polkadex x Hummingbot exchange connector ⛓ The most avid cryptocurrency traders in the Polkadex community may already be familiar with Hummingbot, but for those of you who may not know, Hummingbot provides open source software that helps anyone run market making and arbitrage trading bots on CEXs and DEXs 🤓 A Hummingbot connector is integrated with the API of a crypto exchange (in this case Polkadex Orderbook) to enable high-frequency, two-way communication between the Hummingbot client and the exchange. A Hummingbot connector will allow you and fellow PolkadexOrderbook users to: 🤖 Run & build your own trading bots ♟ Select from a range of trading strategies 🌴 Sit back and watch your automated trades take place ⛏ Earn liquidity mining rewards ➕ And more! So, why connect Hummingbot to PolkadexOrderbook? 🤔 Aside from all the benefits of providing a trading bot connection for users, Hummingbot integration will also allow Polkadex & other liquidity providers to own their own liquidity, thus limiting reliance on market makers. 🎉 Polkadex Orderbook v1.2 has rolled out to Kaizen and is now available for Open Beta testing! 🧪 Apart from a whole bunch of fixes, what's new? 🌉 The ChainBridge integration is now live! Integration with ChainBridge allows for Ethereum tokens to be bridged over to Polkadex Orderbook for trading. The integration includes cross-chain token transfers, depositing those tokens to the user's proxy/trading account, and using those tokens to trade. As mentioned in our 'Up Next' article from July, ChainBridge is designed to (pun intended) bridge the interoperability gap between Polkadex Orderbook's mainnet launch and the rollout of THEA, Polkadex's cutting edge interoperability layer. 📤 Withdrawals are now live! Please clear your browser cache if you've already registered your main account and created trading accounts within the last 24 hrs. You'll need to register your accounts again to trade. Note: This is a known issue but we are not able to replicate it that's why we use the public test net so expect frequent restarts.
