Hey Polkadexers, as we continue to work on building the trading engine for Web3 we’d like to announce the updated Polkadex roadmap for 2022.
In the past year, Polkadex has undergone development at a frenetic pace, with product architecture changing frequently based on new research. Just in 2022, we’ve secured a parachain slot, published the THEA protocol whitepaper and released PolkaIDO to the public testnet. The new roadmap, which is also now available on the Polkadex website, shows the path forward for the launches of Polkadex Orderbook and PolkaIDO and everything else to come in the rest of 2022.

As you can tell by the latest roadmap announcement, our immediate focus is on delivering Polkadex Orderbook’s public testnet release and its subsequent mainnet launch. However, we have not forgotten about the roll out of the PDEX Crowdloan rewards. Since the team is laser focused on releasing the flagship Polkadex Orderbook, the release of the PDEX rewards will be done only after the Parachain is deployed. Parachain deployment is planned immediately after the orderbook release.
In other words, as the parachain is yet to be deployed and the distribution pallet is yet to be developed (all developers are currently focusing on Orderbook work), the Crowdloan rewards will be distributed shortly after Polkadex Orderbook is released on the Polkadex mainnet.
